Overview
We often think of elections as national events, but they are run by the states. That means trusted state and local officials are the guardians of our democracy—the people who defend our free and fair elections.
With a focus on the unique tools available to governors, state attorneys general, secretaries of state, and law enforcement officials, States United promotes nonpartisan legal and policy strategies to protect the freedom to vote.
