AMIE KERSHNER

Prior to joining States United, Amie Kershner ran her own boutique consulting firm, AKM Consulting Inc. for 12 years, working with clients such as U.S. Senators Chris Coons and Mazie Hirono, the DLCC, The Institute for Strategic Dialogue and others. She also served as finance director for Priorities USA in 2016. She began working in fundraising in 2002 while helping to elect Kathleen Sebelius as Governor in her home state of Kansas. Today, Amie lives with her husband, Pete and her elementary age son in Takoma Park, Maryland where she spends any free time she can get that isn’t claimed by soccer practice or games, gardening and losing track of time in novels.
