Art Acevedo is the Chief of Police for the Miami, Florida Police Department. Most recently, he held the same position in Houston and Austin, Texas. Chief Acevedo is currently the President of the Major Cities Chiefs Association, a professional association of Chiefs and Sheriffs representing the largest cities in the United States and Canada.
